Conformance Status

We aim for our website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Our current conformance status is partially conformant — meaning some content does not yet fully meet the standard, and we are actively working to address those areas.

What We’ve Done

• Color contrast: Text and interactive elements meet or exceed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required by WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements on this site are reachable and operable via keyboard alone.
• Screen reader support: We use semantic HTML5 elements, ARIA labels, and alt text for all meaningful images and icons.
• Responsive design: The site adapts to all screen sizes and supports browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
• Dark mode: A system-respecting dark mode is available for users with light sensitivity or vision differences.
• Focus indicators: Visible focus states are maintained on all interactive elements to support keyboard and switch-access users.
• Skip navigation: A skip-to-content link is available for screen reader and keyboard users (activated by pressing Tab on page load).

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas still under improvement:

• Third-party booking widget: The FareHarbor booking system is a third-party service. While we have communicated our accessibility requirements to them, we cannot fully control their widget’s compliance. Phone booking is always available as an alternative.
• Video captions: Some embedded social media videos may not include closed captions. We are working to ensure all owned video content is captioned.

Physical Accessibility at Our Location

Our office at 6310 2nd St #5B, Key West, FL 33040:

• Street-level access from 2nd Street.
• If you have mobility considerations or need assistance at pick-up or return, please call us ahead at (645) 242-8010 and we will make accommodations.

Regarding cart accessibility: Our current fleet of gas golf carts is not adapted for users who cannot independently operate a standard steering wheel and pedals. We do not currently offer hand-control or wheelchair-accessible cart modifications. If you have specific needs, please contact us before booking and we will do our best to assist or provide alternative recommendations.
